SPECIAL TO THE REAL STORY
Columbus, MS February 8, 2012: On February 21st, Chris LoCurto, one of Dave Ramsey’s top team members will present EntreLeadership One-Day from 8-4 on the MUW campus. This event will teach five critical lessons from the EntreLeadership book that anyone who owns a business, leads people, or would like to better manage their personal or professional growth will benefit from.
“Through grants and partnerships with MUW we were able to keep the cost to $15 for this event, making it affordable for anyone interested in attending,” stated Melissa Cook, VP of the Chamber Division of the Columbus Lowndes Development LINK. MUW’sRogerWickerCenterfor Creative Learning and the Center for Creative Entrepreneurship as well as the Columbus Lowndes Development LINK are sponsoring this Dave Ramsey seminar.
For the past ten years, Mr. LoCurto has managed Dave Ramsey’s LIVE! Events team helping grow these events from an average attendance in the thousands to an average attendance of 16,000 per event. To call what he has done successful is an understatement. Mr. LoCurto serves as the primary trainer at Financial Peace University in TN for EntreLeadership. He is well qualified to teach this series as he helped Mr. Ramsey write EntreLeadership which held the #1 spot on the New York Times Best Seller list for many weeks!
In the early planning stages of the three-part leadership series called “Feed the Fire” …one name kept coming to mind to kick off this event…Dave Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey turned the simple concept of getting out of debt into a successful business that he grew from a card table in his garage to be followed by millions. “After reading his most recent book, EntreLeadership, I knew the lessons would help the leaders in our communities,” stated Suzanne Bean,Community Liaison MUW Center for Creative Learning.
This event has been pre-certified for several professions to receive CEU hours. Check with your professional governing board to see if you and your staff qualify to receive these hours. MUW will also provide a Certificate of Leadership to attendees who complete all three events of the Feed the Fire series for an additional cost.
