The Columbus Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in the 1997 murder of George Wilbanks. Earnest Talley, 44, has been arrested, and will make his first court appearance today. Talley has a previous criminal record, and was in jail for burglary when he was arrested in the murder of the 70-year-old Wilbanks.
